Who's Paul then?

Hi I'm Paul Cuthbert, welcome to the Guitar Surgery.

I've been servicing and repairing stringed instruments for the past ten years. It all started when I got myself a bad case of guitar addiction aged 12, and I've never looked back.

Being the curious type, I'd always be fiddling with things, taking them apart learning how they work and loved it.

Aged 17 I started demoing guitars for an amazing guitar maker called Andy Chatsworth, I spent a lot of time honing my craft with him, totaly absorbed everything he taught me.

Through playin in extreme metal bands (Sermon of Hypocrisy, Nailed and currently with prog behemoth Spires) and guitar tech'ing for demanding live acts (Cradle of Filth, White Sister, Danger Danger, Fire House and Gone til Winter) to name but a few. I have tonnes of hands on experience with setting up guitars and basses to a very high standard and to a range of pretty varied playing styles. I spent a short time servicing and repairing instruments for Sound Control, unfortunatley Sound Control went into liquidation. Over the past couple of years I've built up a loyal customer base.
